It was one of those treks I have enjoyed. Steep, long with a great scenery of the rift Valley, Ngong hills is one of those must go to hills while Kenya. No need to rush, take you time and enjoy every moment.

The walk was quite steep, and long so be prepared. Lovely views though. Make sue you get a guide at Ngong Hills not beforehand.

Looking onto the Rift Valley, Ngong Hills offers a lovely environment for trekking, biking or cycling. Picnicking here is also very pleasurable and is a nice way to spend the afternoon. Please note that on entry you are asked if you would like to take an armed escort with you. This should not alarm you as it is purely precautionary... More

We took off at a decent morning time, reached the entrance of the hills from Ngong town center coming (after passing the police station,... More

Loved the views..we went picnicking and loved it. I love the open nature and the unmarked trails. You need a guard to go all the way but its amazing..

By far the most exhausting yet fun and adventurous thing my friends and I have done to date. Don't be fooled by the word "Hills" they are not for the faint heart, you need to prepare and arm yourself. If you're a snacks person (like me)..best to just sit this one out or you could challenge your body and have... More

Great views and worth the drive from Nairobi. Remember sun protection as there isn't lots of shade. We needed to plan better for food as the place we stopped at (which I can't remember the name) didn't have what we wanted.
