The Giraffe Center was over priced but it was an OK place to visit while we were in Nairobi. Only one giraffe was available for feeding and the deck was crowded. It was fun having the giraffe take food pellets from your hand or from your mouth. The experience was similar to what you could do at a zoo here... More

My 4-year old enjoyed feed the giraffe. There was a bit of a crowd, and only one giraffe was interested so everyone crowded in to do their bit. I'll bet that giraffe loved the attention! Great conservation job

We were staying at Giraffe Manor, so got up and close with the giraffes on a personal level a lot during the stay, but we walked over to this place in the morning. Run by people who really care, and actually very educational. Well done guys.

Nice as part of a day out in Nairobi, combined with the other sights in the Karen area. Good attempt at wildlife education and I like that the public can get face-to-face interaction with giraffe, but I also think there should be a limit. When it is crowded, there are often way too many people trying to grab and poke... More

It's such a cute place!! Warthogs and giraffes together... You get to feed the giraffes which is so cool and one also gets to learn about them. A fantastic experience and must visit place for everyone.

This center brings needed income into the country while serving the good function of breeding an endangered (sub)species of giraffe which has not been able to survive in many parts of Kenya. If one calls oneself an "educational center", one should educate about the true nature and character of these animals. One can pet the giraffes and "kiss" them ONLY... More

Hello We are really sorry that you left here feeling cheated. I hope you were able to visit the nature trail and see the different type of trees and their uses as medicinal. We also have a place that demonstrates the different conservation projects that we do. We are really sorry for the feeling you have about us. More

This place offers a calm environment and a real up close experience with giraffes. Read the sign and be careful about the headbutt.

this was actually a sanctuary and I was happy to see that the animals were well cared for, only on 'display' as and when they approached the balcony from which they were given treats by the members of the public. They were respectfully reintegrated into their own kind after leaving the centre
