Giraffe centre

This place is more popularly known as the Giraffe centre. You can go up to a machan and feed giraffes from there. Also we get to see turtles and some wild boars around here.

Not cheap at over $10, and you won't be there long, but having a giraffe - one of the worlds most remarkable (and gentle it turns out) creatures eat from your hand (or mouth for the brave) is well worth it. Once in a life time experience for most. VERY highly recommended

These giraffes are very friendly creatures. They can eat from the palm of your hands and are so close to humans. This place is reasonably priced with great and awesome experience. Giraffes are my very best animals. Keep up the good work of saving and protecting these lovely animals.

This is a great opportunity to get up close with these amazing creatures. An experience I have not seen anywhere else. Humans are up on a platform, so we are eye level with these tall blondes. If you hold a pellet of food in your mouth, the Giraffe will gently take it from you with its lips. I was here... More

Friendly staff welcomed us to the centre. Close views of the giraffe from viewing platform at giraffe head height and the opportunity to feed them. Nice forest walk just across the road from the entrance. Staff were very caring to the giraffes.

A very worthwhile visit to get up close and personal with these lovely gentle creatures. A great first experience before seeing them in the wild.

For 10 bucks you can feed a giraffe and listen to a lecture. It was a lot of fun. I'd give it 5 stars except that the baby elephant orphanage was on $5 to visit. If you go, hold a giraffe pellet between your lips and the giraffe will "kiss" you to get it. My lips tingled for an hour... More

Our visit to the place was rather brief since the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife did not present well the purpose of its existence. We arrived the place when there was another couple on the platform feeding the giraffe. The attendance gave us some feed for the giraffe and explained how to give the feed to the animal. How to...
