The giraffe centre is the highlight of any trip to Nairobi. These incredible creatures gently (if stickily) slurp up food from your fingers but forget bonding - this is strictly friendship for food! The centre does amazing work in rehabilitating Rothschild giraffes and slowly building...More

Lovely to see a giraffe face to face!! Keepers are there to make sure any interaction is safe and it is definitely up to the giraffes if they want to see you!! Only place I've ever kissed a giraffe!

This was a highlight in Nairobi, however go early to avoid traffic as we left it too late and it took a long time to get there and then get back in a private transfer or taxi. Great photo opportunities!
