What made this trip for me (besides the chance to feed giraffes and see them up close) was the amazing staff at the centre. University student interns who are passionate about the environment are the BEST advisors and guides. Plus, a really great gift shop!

Take a little bit of time to relax with the Giraffe and you will love it. We arrived about 12:30 which seemed to be a good time as more of the Giraffes seem to come over for lunch and feeding. When fewer people were there...More

Kiss a giraffe and learn about them. Gentle and beautiful animals that grace the Kenyan savannah. Wow!

Loved this place and I love giraffes. Great time to be had here and it has a cafe and shop to buy little presents. Up close and personal with the animals and they can come and go as they please.

We visited the Giraffe center with a 7 yr old in tow in late June '17. It is a conservancy center for Rothschild Giraffes rescued from various situations. What makes this unique, at least for visitors, is that you can physically interact with the animals,...More

Loved this!!! We were given 2 handfuls of food each and went up to the viewing platform where you fed them to the animals 1 pellet at a time.... The keepers were up on the platform talking about each animal. We learned their ages, names,...More

It is a great place to learn about the animals, and feed them from your hand with food supplied by the staff. Also you can learn a lot about the Giraffes. It takes 1 to 2 hours and is fun for all ages!
