The park is a vast and nice Savannah with interesting animals. It is a good place to go with family and get the kids to see the animals first hand in the wild. The park is not far from the airport, the city and from nice hotels. It was refreshing.

If you have not a lot of time to go on safari, than here is the solution. The best is to go early in the morning or late afternoon, to watch animals. I was very lucky and have seen many different animals.

After a lengthy break in East Africa, we decided to treat ourselves to one final safari before flying home. We saw black rhino and lion up close, as well as wildebeest, hartebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe, black-backed jackal, buffalo, eland, baboon, warthog, dik dik, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, impala, rock hyrax, ostrich, secretarybird, grey-crowned crane and kori bustard.

Amazingly convenient way to "safari". Actual animals... wildebeast, zebra, lions, giraffe, living IN the CITY.... We actually toured around in a taxi.. Couldn't believe it! Sure it would be great to do a longer bigger safari but given out time constraints, this was amazing.

If you truly want to see animals in the wild go to other parks in Kenya, specially Masai Mara region. This one is a poor option for safari. Very expensive for what you get, $42 entrance + fee for driver. You can hardly see animals.

Having a game park in the city is a great benefit if you have limited time but it's incomparable to the Mara or Mt Kenya. We saw a lot of animals and the guide tried hard to find some lions but no luck.Admittedly going in the middle of the day wasn't too smart but they still took our money,

An incredible place to see wild animals right in the middle of a busy city. This park was founded in about 1946 and while traffic swirls round and planes fly over you can experience a wild life paradise

If you don't mind being in the city, this is a great way to see the animals! All the animals are in their natural habitat, and it is great if you only have a quick stopover in Nairobi. Our kids thought it was great and it's easy to get in and out of.

I visited the parc after doing a Masai Mara Safari but got pleasently surprised. We drove with an own vehicle and managed to see a lot of different animals. Even two rhinos right next to the street and car, feeding lazy and not being disturbed by us. Fantastic! The roads are in the northern part okay, but get pretty rough... More

We saw several animals when we were there during Christmas week. We saw zebras, giraffes, water buffalo among a few. Even saw two lioness crossing the road right in front of us on their way to watch a head of zebra. It is a bit expensive for non-Kenyans but well worth it to see those animals in the wild. And...
