I’ve had the privilege of utilizing George’s transfer services on multiple trips to Kenya for transfers from Jomo Kenyatta, Wilson Airport, and also for private tours around Nairobi. We also had a minor emergency at the airport when we were leaving the country and George immediately turned around and headed back to help after dropping us off an hour before. Such a great guy!
He’s always early, responds immediately when it comes to communication, and also is a wealth of knowledge for all questions relating to Nairobi. If you’re looking for a reliable and safe transfer service in Nairobi, Mwashi is the best!

We were really nervous that we would arrive after dark in a strange city without the certainty for safetyof having someone meet us. Then we read about Mwashi airport transfer and taxi service on TripAdvisor. After reading other’s reviews and connecting with George, Vincent and Whinny on WhatsApp, I felt perfectly confident that we had a safe ride to our hotel and a reliable driver for some sightseeing the following day. I would definitely recommend Mwashi to any traveler to Nairobi!

George helped me as my driver for four days while I was visiting Nairobi as a solo female traveller. He was very communicative. Fast and proactive with his responses. And was always early or right on time. He was very flexible and happy to take me anywhere I wanted. And waited for me while I did some sightseeing and clubbing on my own. The comfort of knowing someone was just around the corner helped me see so much more in the city than I would have on my own. He also was able to make great recommendations about local attractions and how to avoid the worst of the traffic. Very safe and experienced driver. I never flinched once. : ) And very reasonable fees. He also knows many people in the tourism industry and can arrange local guides for other nearby destinations.

George is very safe and reliable. He is always early and gets you where you need to be on time. I am a solo female traveller and always felt safe. He always made sure I was inside my destination before leaving and often rang ahead to check that he knew exactly where it was. If I wanted to go out for dinner or drinks he would wait outside to make sure I could leave whenever I wanted to. I was personally recommended George and would recommend him to anybody travelling in Nairobi for any length of time.

I don't know why these folks do not have more reviews. I traveled from the US for my first time visit to the African continent. I was nervous as a solo female traveler. Well! all those nerves vanished after my first ride with Eliakim (Bosire). Airport pick was at night and was very late. A different employee stood with my name on a sign and waited patiently for my arrival. Eliakim made me feel comfortable and took me safely to my Airbnb and even showed me how to check in. During my stay Eliakim handled all of my travels around Nairobi. He was early for every pick up, always parked where I could see him immediately and chose only the safest routes. I briefly rode with a different company one day during my stay and quickly learned that it was best to stick with Mwashi Airport Transfer & Taxi. Not everyone is as careful with transporting their female riders as Mwashi. Do not hesitate to book with them. They do ask for advance payment. It was very easy and was no issue at all.

If you are looking for reliable transport in Nairobi and keen on punctuality Mwashi is the go to person. Car is clean and well kept., also has options if you are travelling as a group or just need more space.

I booked this on Viator and apparently they don't pay attention to their reservations because they didn't realize it was made until I called while my client was waiting at the airport. They claimed there was no booking, which I have the receipts for, and for some reason couldn't even retrieve the information on the reservation. Now the person who answered the phone was very unprofessional and kept contradicting himself. First, he did not see the reservation until last minute, then he somehow couldn't see the reservation so I had to then provide him with my client's name and number AGAIN. On top of that, when asking questions for clarification about their unorganized service, I was hung up on. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend using this company. If you are flying into Nairobi, it is much more convenient to just request an Uber or get one of the taxis at the airport. The taxis at the airport are cheaper anyway and will do the same in getting you from door to door.
