Not worth the visit, better off spending you time on the boat relaxing on the Nile (which is worth it). Don't bother with pre-booking a trip or boat ride on the Nile. You can easily bargain with a local felucca boat driver for an hour...More

Ok, the bananas are good and I suppose it has a rustique charm but for me the animals were a big turn off. I know that animals do not receive the same care and attention in these poor countries but I found it very say...More

The boat ride was the best part of this trip. I didnt like the poor little crocodile being held in that prison, directly in the sunshine but other than that a day trip to do

Our boat ride stopped here for some reason. The island sports a variety of fruit trees, some caged animals, and a small cafe to enjoy tea or bananas. I would have rather the boat stayed on the water than spent time here.

There is nothing there just a couple of animals in a cage and lots of banana. You cannot visit the whole area, it is just a 2 minutes walk. Not worthy.

You can see some dying animals in super small cages. And banana plantations. Calling it "island" is for trapping tourists. We haven't had dinner there. Maybe it is good. The boat tour on the nile is great though.
