This is a lovely tiered garden which makes spectacular panoramic viewing. There was a cafe and shop with seating area. There were benches to sit down on the borders of the garden to view the Aga Khan Mausoleum, very poignant and a must if you have an afternoon to spare. Relatively cheap to get in they might charge tourists more... More

Very pleasant green spot right in the middle of the city, which stands on the rocky east bank of the Nile near the Old Cataract hotel (where Agatha Christie wrote " The Death on river Nile" . The park offers fantastic views and is a good vantage point to take spectacular pictures of the sunset over the western mountains in... More

Entrance Fee quite reasonable. A few playground well maintained have small fee if you want to play it. The park is not clean in certain place. Cafeteria & food stall is present with standard price. Many locals here.

This garden truly is a respite away from all the chaos. I think the fact that you have to pay an entrance fee helps keep out some of the touts. The park is clean and calm and great for a nice shady break.

It is a park on the river side, near the city centre from where you can admire fascinating views. The best: the sun set on the opposite margin of the river. It is near a big Coptic church and many small mosques. And, it is next to the Old Cataract Hotel (where Agatha Christie stayed, if I am not mistaken...).

Very pleasant spot right in the middle of the city, which stands on the high rocky east bank of the Nile near the Cataract hotel, with fantastic views along the Nile river in both directions. Very good place to take spectacular pictures of the sunset over the western mountains when in Aswan, views are nearly equally great as from the... More
