When you contact Aswan Individual, you will likely be contacted by Petra, Waleed's right-hand person. The first time we used Aswan Individual (back in 2011), we had a tour guide for Luxor only. The only thing we did in Aswan, was Abu Simbel-- so our driver was also hired through Aswan Individual. I don't think that tour guides were allowed in Abu Simbel, so it wasn't necessary to have the same one. Our most recent trip, we hired AI for transportation to Luxor, from Hurghada, and then our tour services within Luxor. Our driver was different from the driver/guide that we had in Luxor, but there wasn't any problem with that. My husband handled the booking of our services back in 2011. For the trip this July, we automatically went with AI since we had such a great experience. Once I had the dates, I listed everything that we wanted to do while we were in Luxor. You will be quoted a price for the transportation-- and then you'll be informed of the entrance tickets. Petra and Waleed will kind of tell you how things will be grouped. We had a day for the west bank, 1/2 day for hot air balloon, with east bank in the afternoon, and we did Dendara and Abydos. We decided to book directly through the hot air balloon company, because otherwise you pay a 3rd party premium if that makes sense. They will give you the prices in Egyptian Pounds, but it's pretty simple to make the conversion.
