We really liked the pyramid show. The view is beautiful and you actually learn something about their history. It's mostly the basics but still - very recommendable! Might also be nice for children since the Sphinx is acting like the story teller :) Bring jackets...More

Quite a cheesy show - lights and narration, telling a somewhat disjointed history of Egypt. I’d agree with others that it needs a bit of a revamp, it was a tad dated. We’re pleased that we went though, great to see the pyramids lit up...More

We visited as a group after the working day, the show was in English but was followed by a French dialogue show after which some of our group attended. The lights help visualize the ancient story and the site. Seeing them in the day is...More

Certainly one of the main highlights in Egypt, the amazing light show on the Great Pyramids and Sphinx while hearing the narration about the history of those monements was simply Epic

We got told different stories as to when the show started, the ticket office (1 booth) opens at 8pm and the show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets are LE150 for standard or LE175 for VIP (first 3 rows). The british accent, narrative and the lasers definitely...More

The show itself is a bit dated and needs a revamp. It has an interesting narrative telling the story of Egypt and the pyramids. You can get great photos of the pyramids lit up with lasers. Worth seeing if you have time.

I went to this show in February and found it to be the most boring show I have ever sat through.Considering the backdrop they have to work with, don't waste your money or time.

This show really needs an updated, the lighting is repetitive, the narration boring, worse part its very cold and windy. I did love the initial 30 seconds of when they lighted up the Pyramids, then they tended to switch it off and light it again...More

If you get the opportunity to do this take it!! It was one of my favourite things to do in Cairo, it's a overview of ancient Egyptian history and makes the pyramids look even more awe inspiring. A must when in Cairo
