The Gizeh Plateau is a must see in Cairo. At the moment your rarely find european or western visitors. There are mostly egyptian school kids with their teachers visiting. Which on the other hand makes the souvenir dealers, cameleers or those offering horseback riding the more obnoxious. They won't stop with a no. If you can't get rid of them,... More

This is a must if visiting Cairo for the historical significance and to see the workmanship. There is an option to go inside the largest pyramid of Rameses II for an additional fee as well as camel rides. I suggest wearing sunblock and a sun hat as it can get very hot.

Definitely a must see. Grand historic area. but don't forget to carry water bottles as buying from there will be a rip off. And keep and umbrella or a cap to keep the kids in shade.

We visited this Gizeh Pyramid Plateau at sun set as well as for the "Sound & Lights" that same evening. There are the three main Pyramids within eye sight. A very outstanding visit and something that is not to be missed when ever in Cairo!!

it is the typical location and picture but even though it is impressive. take a ride with camel, around 50 $, but if deal you can get for 10$ plus tip. Take a Guide to see around and go camel to Mikerinos and go inside. this is an experience.

This site never fails to astonish me no matter how many times i return to it. Breath taking beauty. The heat, sun and sand of the desert dazzles the mind in wondering how these magnificent Pyramids were physically built by man in these conditions. It is almost impossible to fathom that these great Giza Pyramids is housed in the center... More

They took my breath away! Pictures can't make them justice. Their size, the stone's weight, their purpose, everything was fascinating about them. We chose not to go in as our guide said they were low and small and my husband is 6'4" and I'm a bit claustrophobic. Checked from the bucket list. Must go!

Not much more can be added to previous comments but this is a must see attraction. If you dont want a guide just tell them but they are persistant and will try and say you must have one or will try and get you to hire a horse or camel. I eventually shook mine off when he realised he was... More

Awesome experience, we went on a day trip from Sharm by air, our trip included loads of other sights to see and was excellent value for money. Everything was included, even the TGI Fridays on the floating restaurant on the Nile.
