Memphis museum doesn´t show the importance of the old capital of Egypt but the Sphinx and the colossos of Ramses II are very interesting.

Very small museum. the only piece of interest is a large sculpture of Ramses II, but unless it is your first stop in Egypt you has probably seen him before

We covered this museum on our tour of Egypt. Worth seeing, especially the big statue of Ramses II. Not much else to see in Memphis.
