If you have extra time in Cairo and are starved for greenery and plants then stop here for lunch in the lovely Restaurant. Take a seat on the terrace with lovely views of citadel and after you place your order take a stroll throughout the park. Admire the views, notice the local lovers strolling hand in hand just like in... More

Enjoyed the open air dining, nice walk around the park, seeing kids run and play instead of glued to a screen.

A great place to spend a few hour's away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic. Lots of green area's, a lake, viewing points, water feature's and places to eat. There is a small entrance fee to pay which is higher if you are not Egyptian but it's not expensive. Overall, a great way to spend a few hour's... More

Wonderful place that you can see all Cairo from the top, from my opinion it needs some more care and organization, I advise all tourists and Egyptian to visit it.

Great for family, however try and go during the working week, as the... More

The al Azhar Park is a very nice and relaxing alternative to the noise and dust of downtown Cairo. Lots of normal Egyptians, mostly families and couples, good food, calm atmosphere, definitely worth to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful and wide park, with many natural details that can inspire hundreds of photos. It has high territories too that helped me take photos for the surroundings. I spent the entire day with other photographers and we had different sessions in different times of the day (noon, sunset, and night). - For food, it has decent cafes and restaurants with... More
