The old town has a great vibe. Walk the old streets and stop for tea. Had an excellent meal for a really good price. The merchandise was mostly a lot of junk, but a super fun place to spend an evening.

There is a lot more to Cairo than just Pharoahs. Make sure you take a tour of old Cairo and include the Nilometer. It costs 20LE to get in and for 50LE they let you walk down. There’s no handrail so mind your step.

We did not expect much but were very pleased with our visit. The area is very picturesque and interesting. Great stained glass, and everything is extremely well well kept up. There is a metro stop next door so no excuse not to go.

It's pretty good I visited two Coptic churches. My favorite was the museum, it's really really beautiful. It's very nice to visit, clean, well documented ... it's worth it
