I visited this mosque as part of a tour of the Old City of Cairo. It is quite impressive, and very well maintained.

Beautiful building and interesting to visit. If you take a tour your guide will more than likely be Muslem so can feel the passion they have for their places of worship. Its worth a visit with a good guide.
