Very disappointed in the communication concerning my documents to complete my excursions. Thank goodness I had taken a picture of the fees that I was charged for verification. I was bounced around at each port to find my meet place because I did not get the instructions before leaving. I was on limited wifi and did send an email to London but I had completed all my excursion when I received her response.
The Jamaican Beach Horseback riding was extremely disappointing. I was shuffled around through different taxis, then dropped off in what appeared to be a homeless camp area. The young man lead me through homeless camps with trash everywhere, walked me down a seaweed, trash filled strip (2-3 feet deep seaweed) next to the water, turned around, asked me for my phone to take pictures, dipped my phone in the water, and lead me back while asking for a tip. We had two men approach us and my “guide” shewed them away. Additionally, we passed a large group of horseback riders with helmets, life jackets, and they were riding in the water and then trotted off into the rainforest. For $112.00 I was ripped off! Very disappointed. I do not recommend booking your cruise excursions through Vacations To Go.

My husband and I recently travelled up the Nile on the Steamboat Sudan and it was a truly amazing trip.
Being the only steamboat on the Nile and a much smaller boat it had a wonderful friendly atmosphere 😊 with the most amazing, friendly and very helpful staff.
Nothing was to much trouble and even on my birthday the chef baked me a cake and all the staff sang happy birthday 😄On our trip we had a tour guide organised by the boat called Eid Mohamed. His knowledge and friendliness made each trip incredibly interesting and his knowledge of Egyptian history was truly amazing 👏
The boat is so beautiful and even if you are not an Agatha Christine's fan it is a most wonderful way to travel and see some of Egypt and we would highly recommend it 👍🥰

had multiple excursions scheduled - could not find our tour guide, could not get any responses from the company. They were much more expensive than the ship excursions. Would never use them

CAIRO city is beautiful considering the heritage which has different Architectural period buildings .
It's very chaotic in terms of traffic and organisation, if you are visiting as private tour (not with guide or cruise ) need to be careful with people who offers help in heritage places because most of the time you will end up paying for without a reason to an unknown person who wants to help for clicking your pictures or just showing your the way of your location...putting in simple words Help is not for free at all in the heritage places .

Simple. Do not miss anything in Cairo. Try to be guided and visit all you can; when you get home, you will have time to organize your thoughts and photos. I found Dina to be very eager to show you Cairo and explain as a great city developed. She is also very patient with the silly questions I was asking.

We did the 12 Days Inspirational Journey. My husband and I are Christians and always wanted to do the Exodus Route, which is how the Bible narrates the Exodus from Egypt, and the journey to Mount Sinai Jordan, under the leadership of Moses until arrival to the Promised Land in Canaan now Israel.

After contacting Vacations to Go I received information from Walaa from the office in Cairo; soon after Magdy, the Tour Director, sent link for payment, itinerary and answers to all the questions and doubts I had.
To our surprise nobody had booked the same days we booked, therefore our tour resulted in a Private one. We had English speaking drivers, tour guides, air conditioned vehicles and great service in each of the destinations.

In Egypt we were greeted at Cairo's airport then transferred to the Hotel and from day one to the last Michael took care of us in an excellent way, even fulfilling some personal shopping request I had. The local guides assigned to us for Cairo and Luxor were also good. The last day at the airport we had some confusions with forms and guidelines from the airline in order to depart but Michael stayed with us to the last minute, he helped above and beyond to translate as well as to get us passed the passport control.

Crossing the Border to Jordan we had some specific guidelines we needed to follow and even before we got in his car, Sayel (driver/guide) was in contact with my husband directing us all the way. He was very polite and accommodating, only in Jerash and Petra we had local guides but for the most part of our sightseeing in Jordan (Madaba, Aqaba, Amman) Sayel was with us, he introduced us to local restaurants and shops helping us in addition to save time and money with PCR test requirements.

In Israel we had a very nice young and professional driver named John who provided us with excellent service and explanations from our arrival at the airport until we departed. We had visited Jerusalem in another trip before but had not been able to cross to the West Bank/Palestine site; in this trip John made this tour possible for us, taking us to Bethlehem and Jericho in addition to all the places in the itinerary.

Overall, the service, logistics and coordination between one destination to another is one of the best we have experienced. We definitely recommend Vacations to Go for your tour needs.

We had a wonderful in Egypt. All of our tour guides from Vacation to go were great. They were informative and spoke perfect English. Thank you Vacation to go for making a memorable trip. And it’s to be continued as we travel to Jordan with them in about three months!

First the good. Michael was our tour Organiser and he was a great first contact. Fun, informative and well organized. He also dropped us off at the end and could not have been more helpful. A credit to his company!

Hotel Safir in Cairo was a bit of a mess. It’s not five star but three and run down. The hot water did not work nor the air conditioning. Food first day at the Asian restaurant was inedible. We complained. The hotel had the room fixed next day and went out of their way to make it up to us.

Sheraton here is about the same price, better and located near the River. Safir is located in a residential area , a mile from the Nile. We went down to Sofitel for New Years which was very nice.

Our first guide in Cairo seemed a little hurried and bored with what he does. You should be warned that your trip to the pyramids involves purchasing extra tickets to get into the inside of the pyramids , which is definitely worth it, even if guide says it’s not.

Scores of buskers will hassle you for money and to buy things. Suggest the guide should be responsible for keeping most of these people off of you. He speaks the language and can stop people with a quick sentence. Don’t get me wrong. We are not helpless and have travelled a lot , but it did get a bit frustrating.

Cairo museum is half empty as they are setting up the new one. Not any fault of the tour operator but they should advise you. Once the new museum is open it should be very impressive.

Guides will take you to perfume factories where they will try and sell you overpriced oils and essences. Just politely say no unless you really like something.

Be aware everything is an up sell here. Like Asia guides take you to the places they have arrangements with. It gets old pretty fast. I’d rather be taken to try great local food and drink. They did happen a couple of times but eating like a local can be a great experience if you pick the best local food places.

Just don’t drink the tap water!!!

Internal flights are comfortable if usually delayed.

Aswan is very nice. It’s quiet snd clean. Make sure you visit the Nubian village and if you have time do the cruise to Abu Simbal.

Cruising to Luxor from Aswan was nice.

The boat Alyssa is old and worn but quite comfortable. It’s not 5 stars as advertised. More like 3. Staff were great. Food on the first day was awful. The second day onwards it was much better. It seems the use left overs from the last cruise the first day?

The transfer back up Cairo to fly out is a waste of a day and money. You should fly out of Aswan or Luxor back home depending which direction you are headed on the cruise. Hotel in Luxor was quite nice. We ate dinner at Mezze over at the Movenpick resort for dinner and it was very good.

Return to Cairo was a waste as we could have left from Luxor but again Michael was the highlight and left a good feeling about Egypt with us to take home.

My husband and I are close to the end of this fabulous tour of Egypt and Jordan. The arrangements in both countries from airport pickup and drop off; tour guides; drivers and hotels were excellent. We had adequate time at all sites. The Nile Cruise was first class. Hats off to all the planning and care that was involved on the part of all Vacations to Go staff and private contractors. We highly recommend this tour.

This is the third trip that Bacations to Go have planned for us. We have visited Morocco, Egypt and now Jordan. We had an 11-day Jordan experience and all I can say is it exceeded expectations. We went to Jordan for Petra but found Jordan is south more. From the Roman ruins in Jeresh, the busy city of Aman with the Roman amphitheater, the market place, the Desert Castles, Petra of course, an over-night desert experience in Wadi Rum, the relaxing city of Aqaba (where we scuba dived for the first time. And on to flooting in the dead sea, visiting where Moses saw the promised land and the baptisism site of Jesus, the experience was outstanding. And that is attributed to Vacations to Go who arranged our wonderful drive Achmed and an outstanding trip. Every trip they have arranged for us has been outstanding. They care for the little things. The owner is responsive and will arrange your trip with your personal desires, like visiting the only micro-brew in Jordan. You will not go wrong planning your tripwithVacations to Go.
