A wonderful experience to visit this ancient site to see the cave where the Holy Family are traditionally said to have stayed when they were in exile from Egypt. A 'must see' when in Cairo in our view

I had no idea there was such a place and it was a wonderful experience to visit this sacred spot. The church is beautiful and holds such a inspiring place to visit.

This church is built on the cave where the Holy Family lived (or is it said to) when they ran out from Israel. The pope "approved" the trail it is presented near the church on a wood sign. Church is really nice.

A well kept, historical site that is still used today. Nice to see school groups coming through to learn about Egypt’s history.
