A very interesting museum to visit. It provides with new exciting information about this area. The indoor museum is very simple and quick. You can also walk around the 7km open air museum to see the fossils on site

Wadi al-Hitan is in Fayoum. The drive there itself is not that bad. But when you actually get there, you are blown away by the ruins and how well they are preserved and exhibited at the same time.

We returned to Cairo. Did I mention that it rained the last time we were there! The desert bloomed with spiders and other insects!!
