    Beautiful palace.
I love this place. My trip and experience in Seoul wasn’t great but this palace is beautiful and amazing - lots of greenery and good place to explore and walk around. They offer English tours so I do recommend it. It gets quite hot in the summer and there aren’t many cafes or places you can buy a drink so bring your own water and an umbrella.

    Beautiful palace and grounds
This palace was well worth the very cheap admission fee (3,000 won per adult). The buildings are very ornate and colourful and the palace is set amongst huge well kept grounds which offers various great views back to the city skyline. A lovely way to spend a few hours in central Seoul.

Pleasant break from the hustle of the big city
Pleasant imperial palace that has been reconstructed. Wonderful grounds and architecturally interesting. 2 tickets needed - one for general entrance and an additional one for the secret garden, accessible only by timed guided tour.

Although Changyeonggung is smaller than the other palaces I've visited, there's a green park that covers a lot of ground, which visitors can explore. It's quite a hike and don't miss the greenhouse. I didn't get the free tour for this palace because it's smaller and I was already quite tired from the hike in Changdeokgung.

Not too sure why it's being shown as closed. It is open I was here yesterday on the 2nd of May.

It has a nice big garden to walk around. And at the moment heaps of activities are being run for children.

The lake is stunning

Changgyeongung Palace is one of 5 Joseon dynasty palaces in Seoul. It's set in the same enormous park where's the more famous and beautiful Changdeokgung Palace and it is connected with it.
Changgyeongung is included in the "Royal Palace Pass" which for a low fee of 10.000 Won gives access to all 5 palaces (kids under 16 are free).
You enter the Palace from the eastern Honghwamun gate (bus stop right across it) or from the Changdeokgung Palace if you visited it first.
Changgyeongung Palace consists of four palaces and is little bit younger than others dating back to 15c.
In our opinion it was the least interesting Palace we saw, and if you visit it after other Palaces it might be underwhelming, yet still beautiful.
TIPS:
- free English guided tour at 11 AM (and one afternoon, check on website),
- excellent photo op of Seoul from the top of Palace complex staircase.

A beautiful palace with all the November fall leaves and trees made it more scenic everywhere. We enjoyed taking selfies and family pictures as we walked throughout the well kept palace. Stunning views and Korean architecture

Дворец построен в середине 15 века королем Седжоном для своего отца. Перестроен в конце 15 века. Дворец несколько раз разрушали при попытках завоевать Корею и каждый раз он был восстановлен.
The palace was built in the middle of the 15th century by King Sejong for his father. Rebuilt at the end of the 15th century. The palace was destroyed several times when trying to conquer Korea, and each time it was restored.
15세기 중반에 세종이 아버지를 위해 지은 궁궐입니다. 15세기 말에 재건되었습니다. 궁궐은 한국을 정복하려다가 여러 번 파괴되었다가 매번 복원되었습니다.

The palace was build in the mid-15th century. I like the exteriors and decorated ceilings. Since the buildings are not furnished, it is hard to visualize how the buildings were utilized.
