One of the most picturesque places in Tbilisi. The vibrant and intricate art inside the church definitely a must-see. Despite the throngs of tourists and believers alike, it is a quiet and peaceful place which brings about feelings of awe.

Well preserved little monastery. Small without great atmosphere. Be sure to have a long skirt and covered Armstrong and head for women. For men long trousers required.

Witnessed a sunday morning service, magnificent introduction to Georgian culture and the culture of the georgian orthodox church. Beautiful frescos on the ceilings incense and chants. Historical highlight of the old town.

This cathedral has gorgeous and vibrant interior paintings. As the building dates from the 13th century, the paintings are cared for very well.
