Walking the main Rustaveli Ave we bumped on this edifice, which is located slightly above the old Parliament on the other side of the street. While by the shape of it you could tell it's an Opera or Theater venue, by its architectural style you...More

The Opera House is wonderful. We went to ballet "Lourencia" - fantastic dancers, the orchestra can little bit be better

If you like ballet or opera it definitely worth checking out what is on at the Opera House while you are in Tbilisi. They have some world class performances at unheard of ticket prices (at least compared to anywhere else in Europe).

This review is quite late. The Paliashvili Opera House along Rustaveli Avenue is an imposing structure with its Moorish architectural design and impressive facade. It was closed for business when I passed by.

Paliashvili Opera House is located in Rustavelli street. It's easy to reach and Georgian show is great. Just check website for being in good scheduling, It's about 10 minutes from freedom square to be there.

Outside is not reflecting the masterwork inside. Fascinating decorations from inside. You smell the history and the nice work which has been done by the Georgians.
