I must warn anyone who goes to this place to be very very careful before buying anything.They charged 2500 Lari for 4 champagnes.Their menu contains prices and when it comes time to pay,a new menu is given with an extra zero added on.
Upon disputing this things got bit aggressive, two nasty bouncers came over and we were forced to pay the full amount.It is a place were extortion take place under the eyes of the law.An absolutely dreadful establishment.

While exploring the vibrant 8-10-1 Jan Shardeni Street in Tbilisi, filled with its tempting restaurants and lively atmosphere, my friends and I were enticed into Lux Nightclub by a seemingly friendly invitation. Our casual visit quickly spiraled into an ordeal. We were joined unexpectedly by three ladies who suggested ordering champagne, seemingly as pricey as our beers. Expecting a reasonable bill for our modest orders, we were blindsided by an astronomical charge of 5400 Lari!
The situation escalated when we questioned the bill. The staff, including burly bouncers, turned hostile, intimidating us with threats and physical aggression. In a state of panic and with no other option, we were coerced into paying 2000 Lari – an outrageous sum for what we consumed. This experience wasn't just financially exploitative; it was psychologically traumatizing, especially for one of my friends who was visibly shaken for days.
This establishment, along with its associated bars, seems to have a dubious practice of targeting tourists for financial extortion. It's a trap set with a facade of hospitality, only to turn into a nightmare. Travelers deserve to know and steer clear of such predatory tactics. Lux Nightclub should be held accountable for their actions.

I travelled in over 120 countries of the world in a 40 year period. But this is the FIRST time I have been RIPPED off so much like I was in SHARDENI street at choice.sharden bar restaurant. I am SHOCKED ! My night out cost 348 USD . When it came to pay a bouncer immediately stood nearby . I only realised how much they had fleeced me the next day when I saw my bank statement . I spoke to other local people and they said it is a COMMON occurrence in SHARDENI . One Turkish guy got so mad he caused over 3000 USD in criminal damage . I must WARN anyone who goes to this place to ge very very careful before buying anything . Look closely at the menu . They use trucks to hide the prices by calling it a special drink with a special recipe. The WIRST one on the street is a place that does karoeke. It’s called choices . Ironic .

Terrible service. I dont know whats wrong with the staff. Was waiting at till area for ordering and no one was there to take our order. 3/4 staffs were sitting right there idle and no one cared to assist us. We had to call them and thier attitude was terrible while taking order.

this street got too many night club, rock bar, hookah cafe . especially weekends . too many people on there. u can find every kind of music .

This street is full of cafes and restaurants, but be careful as some of them try to charge far too much. Saying this, we dined at two lovely restaurants here.

Do not come to this area for shisha/ hookah. They will scammed you. Paid for very very very expensive bill. This is how they will scam you. They charged us 250 Gel for 1 shisha/hookah.
They have 2 menu. 1 actual and 1 hidden menu with shisha price. There is no shisha price on the menu that were given to us. So we tried asking 4-5 times but they pretended not to understand english and ignore the question. Please avoid this area.

Horrible. I noticed multiple rubbery attempts during the day (imagine night time) and unfortunately the place is full of scam. I highly recommend not to consider coming here at all it's not worth it. In case you wanted to come just leave all your valuables at your stay place and try to never get your phone out. Be safe.

Mafia members are all over these places. I am amazed how a country like Georgia is allowing these types of illegal activities to take place against tourists without doing anything about it. My advice not to even go there, let alone try to enter and try your luck. It is a place were extortion take place under the eyes of the law. German bar, you name it, all the same. Stay completely away from this area. Very dangerous.

As a local I will definitely give you a confirmation that this place is full of scam. From outside place is surely nice however it’s not worth it visiting any places and definitely avoid getting to know any girls there! Everyone will try to rip you off there and even a stranger you get to know there might try to make money from you!

because of good price and mercedes benz taxi riding is very better than metro or any other transportation devices. all street is stoned and very beautiful and clean in that area. Have nice trip.

I assume you mean alone? Shardeni is a busy pedestrian way that does not allow cars. It is well lit. You are never more than 10 meters from a restaurant or business. I still suggest that you be with another person, especially late, as you never know when a drunk or two may be aggressive.
