If you are into gems and handcrafts this is place to go to. Especially JADE. Prices are quite reasonable. Could easily spend a whole day there if you are a shopper, and nice place to escape the heat, although not really air con.

Went to the Aung San market and there are lots of things to buy. From souvenirs to jade. I went there to buy jade and there are lots of shops selling it!
