We are a contemporary Fair Trade craft shop supporting small Myanmar...

We are a contemporary Fair Trade craft shop supporting small Myanmar producers, opening opportunities for them to improve their social and economic situation. We are committed to using local materials and local artisans to produce quality, handmade products with a modern twist. Our producers include people with HIV, street youths, the mentally and physically disabled, and small family businesses fighting poverty. When you are in Yangon drop by to pick up some ethically-sourced memories of your time in the land of a thousand pagodas.

This shop is small but wonderful. It is filled with Myanmar crafts with the proceeds given back to the artisans. There were so many unique items. We even bought colorful shopping bags with leather handles for a tiny price. Sold items are given to you in newspaper bags---I kept mine to use at home as gift bags. This store is... More

Loved the creativity and uniqueness of the products, and the store itself. The combination of bright/pastel colors with traditional spiral and floral motifs is a nice twist on local goods!

We loved this place! I wanted to buy everything in there - and not just because they have so many great things, but also because it's supporting so many artists and craftsmen. The very nice woman who served us explained that they source all their products from Myanmar and that the money goes back to supporting disadvantaged artists. They obviously... More

Bursting with colour, the Pomelo for Myanmar fair trade shop is just dreamy. I love that they support local artisans and producers and could have come away with everything!! I fell in love with the baby elephant key rings (bought one for all the family) and one of their colourful jugs is going to brighten up my table this summer.... More

So many lovely products with great stories of Myanmar behind them. It's a joy just to walk around the shop and learn about the producer groups and admire all the amazing craftmanship. Great place to get gifts for people at home, and bits for myself too. Particularly love the Helping Hands chopping boards!

A must go when visiting Yangon. Prices are spot on fair, all in the name of fair trade gifts made by Myanmar artisans.

The store is full of stunning items to buy ranging in size and price, the best part is they are all extremely unique. Travelling SE Asia for 5 months we never came across another store as awesome and unique as this one. All of the products are handmade by local women using local products. The women that work in the... More

A great enterprise mixing empowerment of local groups with modern design. Items with a unique flavour of Myanmar that you'll keep around and use for years keeping the memories of your amazing time there (work or pleasure) fresh and vivid... well worth a visit.
