Nga Htat Gyi pagoda is just fantastic experience. The Nga Htat Gyi pagoda in Yangon is known for its enormous seated image of the Buddha. The pagoda is located in the Ashay Tawya Monastery, across the street from the Chauk Htat Gyi pagoda that houses a highly revered 65 meter long reclining Buddha image.A flight of stairs leads to the temple grounds. A gate with a very ornately decorated five tiered Burmese Pyatthat roof, topped with a hti is guarded by two large white and gold mythological lions called Chinthe.

Good and peaceful place to visit. Buddha statue in sitting position. Unfortunately it was under maintenance when I visited so the statue was completely covered. Enjoy the rare pics.

A lovely pagoda in the hearts of the city. This temple is not as popular as other large temples, but I think it’s worth a visit

Currently under wraps for repair, but still worth a visit to view the interior and giant Buddha statue.

This Pagoda was beautiful with Myanmar's Statue of Buddha and sculpture. There had various statue and arts. Many people prayed with pious attitudes, and the atmosphere was very good. Except main Statue of Buddha, many beautiful arts was in it. There was very good place to know Myanmar's Buddhism.

We walked to this pagoda from the Bogyoke Aun Sang Museum. Shoes and socks are not allowed as with other pagodas in the city. Towering statue of Buddha. Very few visitors here. Quiet, calm and peaceful. No fee. If you like this review and/or the photos, please consider giving me a Like. A nice temple and quite an impressive Buddha image. Serene Pagoda with huge Buddha statute, situated atop a hill. Along the route to the reclining Buddha.
Worth a visit, but be aware of people following you ,be careful for people trying to show you a monastery. They will just try to get you to pay money for some reason,it is funny when you are in here, there's a lot of them! Just ignore them!

Another pagoda worth visiting. The statue of the magnificent Buddha along with the adornments is breath taking. Highly recommend it.
