Take 30-60 minutes and have a walk around and through the gardens where you can see the Independence Monument, City Hall, High Court and the Sule Pagoda. Even take your life in your hands trying to cross the streets at the SUle Pagoda roundabout.

Apart from the independence monument (which only has Burmese text on it), there really isnt much to see here. Perhaps the most helpful thing in this park is its public toilet.

This is a beautiful place in Yangon to come and chill out; if the weather isn't too scorching! We came here after visiting the Sule Pagoda as they are a two minute walk from one another. The park is simply stunning with the independence monument...More

There is not much to see or do here. This park is located near Sule Pagoda so just a drive through on the way to Sule pagoda would suffice.

This park is close to an area that has a lot of traffic. So it is a good place to escape from this. I was there on Sunday and there was some music and stuff going on. Seemed like fun. Also if you look around...More

I would recommend to visit the park at night although you cannot enter, you still have the chance to take nice pictures towards the pagoda in the circle. The setting is nice there and evening time you find a lot of small eating places on...More

The park attracts lots of local and tourists to its grounds. Located right in the city center, one can see Yangoon's people's daily lives and the history of Myanamr's once capital city. But it's too sunny. Even for my taste!! Some chairs with shades or...More

There are no public toilets here. Be warned! The traffic in Yangon is among the worst that we have seen around the world. But this square is delightful. Well maintained, and surrounded by so much colonial architecture.
