This is a white coral sand bar which becomes a long beach at low tide. Kept clean & tidy by the Koror State - nice to see your permit money is being used somewhere. Used as a place to sit & eat lunch by the Tour companies. That's it really.

This place is much needed when in Koror as there is no beach! It's so hot here and having an area to swim on your days off tours is very much needed. There's coral to see if you want a snorkel too. Not a bad place to chill:D

This beach that gradually grows in length as the tide rolls out. The best pictures we took during the trip was during our stop at this pristine beach. Make sure your tour stops here!

The white sand beach and the aqua ocean offer picture perfect background. There is restroom, picnics, and BBQ facilities on the beach so you can enjoy a delicious lunch and a great afternoon here.

Very lovely beach. You have to hit it at the right time when the tide is heading out or you will only see the outline. But we caught it at the right time when it was submerged and the tide started to go down and the beach appeared. Some lovely sights and if your lucky you might catch a few... More

It would be the most wonderful place in the world if you could go there alone. A "tongue" of sand in the middle of the sea, surrouunded by islands and the wonderful blue Palauan sea. A "must go" when in Palau.

Reading some of the comments in this thread, it appears some people are mixing 2 different places: Long Beach and Long Island Park. Long Island Park is a public park on the island of Koror, between the main island and Malakal island. In that park there is no sandy beach; the turquoise water is nice and clean with some great... Long Beach is located in Koror and within a fifteen minute walk from the center of town, five minute drive. Long Beach is one of the only public beaches in Palau without a charge to get in. However, adding beach to the name is kind of deceiving. Long Beach is a place to go and swim, snorkel, and see a... More

we were looking for a place to snorkel as we hadn't booked a dive trip for the day. We got kicked out of one of the nicer hotels which wanted 50 dollars per person to use the beach. So we came here... its not pretty. Some clams not much fish. pretty brisk current. Locals playing volleyball which would be fun.
