Really nice beach, sheltered from the wind. Was never that busy, nice soft sand, great swimming and the kids can see plenty of fish very close to the edge. Good range of bars and food local as well.

Great beach, spacious and away from the wind! Lovely light and it is nice and safe to swim here. Probably one of our favourite near Nouméa.

Funky trendy each area not as busy as Anse Vata. Lots of little breakfast restaurants, sparkling water and lots of aqua sports. A fun place to be and better than the other options.

It was a gorgeous atmosphere at the beach, some lovely little restaurants and shops around too. It was quiet when I visited in the morning, the locals were very friendly!

This is the best beach I've seen in the South Pacific. Not far from downtown Noumea and you can get there on the hop on hop off bus. There are heaps of cafes and restaurants as well. The beach is Free to all!

Baie does Citrons is the premier swimming beach of Nouméa and the northernmost area is a great place for snorkeling.

A picturesque sheltered bay with a busy marina nearby. The choice of eating options is very impressive.

Bus lines 10 and 11 go from Centre Ville (the town centre) to Baie des Citrons (Lemon Bay). Bus stops are marked by white pillars on the side of the road. Sometimes there is a shelter too, but not always. The bus routes... More
