Lovely little spot. Easy to access via the water taxi. We went early ( highly recommend as it was busy by 10.30) and paid to hire lounges ( expensive but worth it). Snorkelling was good and easy. Plenty of fish and water temp was perfect....More

We visited here as part of our hop on hop off tour with Lyvai with the duck island pass included. I’m so glad we did. There were so many stunning species of fish to see not to mention turtles and some even saw a shark...More

Had a pleasant afternoon there with the family, but I wouldn't bother going again and the cost dropped it from 4 to 3 stars. Everything in New Caledonia was pricey, and Ile aux Canards has a captive audience but even so... We spent about AUS$280...More

Everything in Nouvelle Caledonie is expensive but the costs for a trip to this island is not worth. After having spent 1200 F(€ 10) for few minutes of ride with a taxi boat, 3000 F (€ 25) for a chair where is impossible to lay...More

Took the taxi-boat over to the island, remember to get your tickets from the kiosk first! Only takes three minutes by boat. The island isn’t very sandy, instead it’s made up of coarse crushed coral, so if you can take shoes that you can wear...More

The snorkeling trail at ile aux canards is interesting, easy to follow and leads you through into deeper water. I was lucky enough to spend an hour hanging out with a turtle. The turtle was relaxed and uncaring about my presence. We rented 2 chairs...More

This is a very pretty Island and only a five minute taxi boat trip from the main beach area of Noumea. If you don’t go early (like we didn’t and on a Sunday to boot) you will not get to hire the $49 sun beds...More

The day I went there were only 2 taxi's running - and there was a ship load of people there. Hence we waited approx 1.5hrs either end. Do not go over in bad weather - the ride is very uncomfortable and scary.
