I had the privilege of attending a service where the doors were open and the young people danced to the alter - it was just beautiful and worth going to a service irrespective of your faith.

Like all churches on Kiribati, Sacred Heart is pewless. The locals prefer sitting on the cool Lino floors. The lack of furniture gives the churches on the island a feeling of openness and space... wonderful.
