Ambo, and the rest of South Tarawa has great potential. The waters that surround this atoll look inviting but are rife with polution and human bodily waste. Hook worm is common along with other nasties. The land and beaches are no better with litter, broken...More

This is basically a residential area so facilities are minimal but there is accommodation at Utireri Motel and Dreamers Guest Lodge.and restaurants at Utireri Motel and Parliament.

Easy acces from North Tarawa. Please clean up all your garbage. Visit all the churches around the Main Street.

With the Parliament building sitting on reclaimed land in Ambo, it's a prime spot to visit. Sitting out back by the water is a good way to spend some time.

there are so many whole and broken shells on the beach it was almost impossible to find a place to lay down. The scenery is beautiful.
