If you're traveling by taxi line we were stop here for a few minutes on the way to the museum nearby. Come soon and you will see the traditional totem pole soon to be replaced by a "modern" representation that's not as symbolic. Parliament was not in session and entire visit took about 15 minutes.

Beautiful building and a nice lake in front. A must see when in Port Moresby. Good photo ops. Even though I could not enter, it was worth a visit.

I've taken visitors here many times and the staff are always happy to take you on a tour and answer any questions. The outside entrance is very impressive. Definitely worth a visit if you're in POM.

This is a must see in Port Moresby, but don't just look at the outside (which is great). You have to knock at the front door (with the 2 Kundu (drum) handles. Wait for a guide to open and ask for a tour of the inside. The guide we had was so knowledgeable and told us a lot about how... More
