I walked the Kokoda Track with OUR SPIRIT at Anzac Day this year and was so impressed with their complete understanding of all the history, the people and the environment. the attention to detail is clearly second to none, the comprehensive history (not read out of a book) presentations and obvious dedication to the people is second to none. I... More

I signed up to tackle Kokoda with a friend six months ago in what seemed like a great challenge and an opportunity to explore some of our Australian history. What I gained from the experience was all of the above and so much more. Taking part in the 75th anniversary trek of the Kokoda Trail with Adventure Kokoda was one... More

Sometimes you go through events or experiences in life that have a massive impact or resonate with you for the rest of your life. For me, April 2017, Kokoda did just that. Trekking Kokoda through Australian Kokoda Tours for the 75th Anniversary was a dream come true. Its something I have talked about doing with my dad since I was... More

Commemorated the 75th Anniversary of the Kokoda Trail by participating in a moving ANZAC Day service at the Bomana War Memorial and then 'walking in the footsteps' of those servicemen who fought during the Kokoda campaign. For a person that served 34 years in the military, had operational service and was very physically fit and active the experience with Adventure... More

In commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Kokoda campaign, I was fortunate enough to complete a 9-day trek with “Adventure Kokoda” from Owers' Corner to Kokoda led by the inspirational Charlie Lynn. We started our journey with a moving Anzac Dawn Service at the Bomana War Memorial Cemetery and at the conclusion of our trek returned back to Bomana whereby... More

"Adventure Kokoda" was a unreal company to do the trail with. They do so much for the locals it's amazing. Charlie Lynn was a brilliant bloke, guide and full of knowledge which can't be read from books. His team of porters exceed my expectations by a mile. Never went hungry and saw so many beautiful sites. If you want to... More

I have just returned back from the 75th anniversary trek of the Kokoda campaign which started on Anzac day 2017. This is the 2nd trek I have done with Adventure Kokoda the first I researched thoroughly and choose on a number of factors; the speed and personal reply's of the company (Charlie responded personally) the all inclusive nature of fee,... Could not start our 9 day Adventure Kokoda Trek better than with an amazing Anzac Dawn Service held at the War Memorial Cemetery in POM. With the opportunity to have a photo taken with the last 'Fuzzy Wuzzy Angel' was truly memorable. First trek day - "i will ease you into it" Charlie said.. that was one of the many... More

I have just completed an 8 night trek of the Kokoda Trail with the inspirational Charlie Lynn from Adventure Kokoda. It was an awesome experience. Charlie has so much knowledge to share on the history of the Kokoda campaign and his passion is infectious. We had an amazing team of 16 trekkers, all now great mates who share a unique... More

We completed a 10 day trek with Charlie Lynn that finished on Anzac day. We covered over 146km during this time and we could not have been better looked after by Charlie, the porters and natives that feed us and made us feel so welcome in their villages. The best experience we could have hoped for and felt safe and... More
