This is a really beautiful building. Especially if you come in the evening when it's lit up as well. They haven't overdone it with the lights, but it adds something to it. It's close to the boardwalk where you can get some nice local good...More

This is an attractive building that houses an institution that is not currently favoured across the world for his past association's. This is why its not a good idea to take photos. The pure white building provides an attractive site in the strong sunlight.

You are certain to receive an invitation if you are in country as a diplomat; enjoy the special flavors of Suriname foods often served on the front lawn.

The presidential palace looks a bit run down. Some parts of the outside look more yellow than white. They are currently working on it so hopefully it will look better soon.

When I visited the Presidential Palace it was still open for public. Beautiful, astonishing and fascinating is how I would describe it. To walk trhough the rooms, knowing that there is hundreds of years of history involved. It has a beautiful backyard and you can...More

Lovely walk by the water and thru the older part of Paramaribo. Near the heart of the city. Many colonial buildings from the Dutch colonial times.
