The Cathedral is especially beautiful, being constructed inside from light colored cedar wood. The outside looks more typical of Paramaribo historical architecture.

Paramaribo is not a beautiful city, and yet it has several amazing landmarks, this cathedral among them. The angles, the light, the windows, and statues. And to think, all of structure is wood, this church with its many arches is truly a work of art.

Beautiful basilica inside and out. Worth a visit for seeing the wood work inside and out. When we arrived a service was in process but it ended in 10 minutes so we were able to see the beauty of the inside.

Magnificent church and shows richness of history here. A most see as a tourist visiting. Ensure to tour inside and get a blessing.

As impressive as it is on the outside, you must go inside (no shorts, hats, phones in use allowed) to appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship of this wooden church. One of the few churches in the world where they still have holy water.

Beautiful wooden building, amazing inside. Should visit when in Paramaribo. Has been restaurated completely, shame that the harsh tropical conditions are affecting the outside already.

I thought nicer on the outside than inside. It is said to be the largest wooden structure in the western hemisphere. Worth a visit when in Paramaribo.

No idea, I am sorry. 99% of things over there are just in Dutch, though.
