Free of charge, located in the heart of the city and worth your visit! What more could one want? The exhibition is interesting, there is plenty to see, learn and admire. It appeals to both young ones and adults. I would recommend it to anyone....More

This is where Botero is located. The building is actually a complex and worth visiting for its preservation and history and art exhibits.

This is an interesting free museum recalling the history of gold melting and coin making. It can be combined with visit to Museo Botero. Beautiful building creates a nice setting for this collection.

I really like history, so I went to this museum, and I love it. You could find from the beginning the process of making money in Colombia and the Andean region. You will see the Spanish Real (money from Spain), and the Peso from Colombia,...More

It is a small museum, but it really makes up for it with a rather nice collection of historical bits from the early beginnings of Colombian currency.

Very good displays, much inter-active stuff for kids - especially on gold production and minting. Lots of stuff for those interested in coins, notes and the colourful monetary history of Colombia. Also, next to the Botero.

I high recommend this coin attraction for an afternoon event. Access is free and to view the history of a nation's money is very interesting as well as the history behind all the coins.

First and foremost, it's FREE. Take advantage of Colombia's fine richness by visiting the Casa Moneda and just next to it, museo de Botero and be awed by the rich history on both it's financial and art background. We love it! Highly recommended!

This museum is also free too. And also connected to Botero's museum. So you can enter this museum after or before going to Botero's museum. They gave me a memorial coin for free. You can earn some money!
