Unless this is already part of your tour- not really worth a special trip to see. Small area of "Badlands" type of rock formations , which you can walk around in about half an hour.

A great place to have the moon-feeling of the Andes! We loved walking through the area or to stop and sit and be silent. It is in the south of la Paz and you can spend between half an hour or 3h .... If you have some extra time in La Paz: go and enjoy!

I took a combi for 2.6 bs. to get there. The entrance fee is 15 bs. You do not need a tour guy. There are 2 options when you get in: a 15 minutes hike or a 45 minutes. I did the longest, I loved it!! Very easy to hike...Nobody was there so it was very peaceful, the view is... More

Surrealistic landscaping.I agree with Mr.Armstong to describe it as a Lunar valley.Well connected with bus. To be honest I was expecting something larger and a bit more loooked after. But was a great experience.

This is for you if you like rocks. This park is a main attraction for tourists. It displays how the weather and elements have formed this valley of all kinds of structures. The formations look like ones you would find in humid caves.

If you are in La Paz a few days it's fine to go a couple of hours. Moon landscape, nice walk, nothing special.

It is just stunning. Beautiful stone jungle with amazing view of the whole city. It is a bit hard with the transportation. We had a hard time finding the taxi back to the city center. Not even expecting any buses or so. But the place is definitely worth visiting.
