Just a few touristy businesses, nothing else to see. The history is worth visiting, but not the shops.

Tourist markets where you can get anything from a genuine alpaca jumper to an alpaca foetus for your witch craft. Worth a visit to practice your bargaining skills!

Really a surreal, but fun safe area. Your one stop dead llama shop. The people were friendly enough and traffic, like all of LaPaz is at best dangerous. I did enjoy it

Yes it is open everyday. Of course during the weekend there are more people and more street vendors.
