Family friendly beach where kids can have fun in a safe environment. Many water sports can be played there. There are plenty of people who rent all kind of equipment

This very nice beach is a favorite for beach-goers as well as for beach fishing.
Since it's the Mansa (river) side of the PdE peninsula, it tends to have smaller waves.

Purely a matter of opinion, while this is a very nice beach with a long stretch of soft sand, I much prefer the ones on the other side of the peninsula. You get the same amount of sun but the water here is definitely colder than the beaches on the other side.

This beach curves around the calmer bay side of the peninsular and offers a wide array of activities. One can almost walk to the neighbouring Chilean beach.

Great beach with warm water and soft sand! Very clean portable toilets and plenty of huts to buy a beer from. The only downside was that it was full of jellyfish which prevented us from getting in the water. Apparently they're not there all year long but watch out for them in early March.

Very nice beach. The day we went there were three cruise ships so I think a lot of the people might have been there for the day. The beach was very clean. You can walk around and take in the sun. If in this area enjoy the fun and sun.

The beach attracts all the tourists. They even have a little "wave" bridge which everyone seems to love. The bridge is called La Barra Bridge or Maldonado bridge. It is built over the Arroyo Maldonado stream, but it is built as a wave. It feels like a roller coaster when you cross it because you are going up and down when all you need to do is go across. It’s called a stressed ribbon bridge because the support cables are embedded in the concrete. It’s a work of art and functional at the same time.

The "hand" is on the beach is quite famous and it attracts plenty of tourists as well.

Playa Mansa is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in my opinion, but is also one of the most popular. Although not crazily busy, there are quieter beaches in which to enjoy a more relaxing environment.
