Excellent to go with the family, avoid first fortnight of January, too crowded. March is the best month.

Very relaxing, although if you can drive, I recommend visiting Jose Ignacio and Rocha for more peaceful, natural beaches. Piriapolis is nice too if you rather visit a busy spot with cheaper restaurants.

Never been to a beach with such a calm see and nice view. Strongly recommend even over playa Brava, specially if you have kids. The beach is also clean. You can't rent beach chair and other apparel but if you are not in a hotel...More
