The heritage village is a step back to the days Abu Dhabi was a fishing port and trade post. There are a few stalls selling souvenirs and other artefacts. The rulers first landrover, prabably 60 odd year old is on view. Its worth looking around...More

Interesting small museum of Arabic settlement , again Ramadan so most places closed ( bought abaya to see national mosque, our guide insisted that my long trousers, long sleeves top and head cover was not enough )

We went there in the afternoon. Initially felt that it is like a Dilli Haat of Dubai. The museum has nothing interesting or special about it. The beach area looked good but the weather was very hot. I will suggest everyone to avoid visiting this...More

Ok...they tried to make something about their past...Every Abu Dhabi city tour includes this visit. But it is boring, these people does not have history-but they have great present. This looks miserable, my advice is to stay in the bus and don't get out. Sad,...More

It was a great learning experience for me. I learned that the emiratis before were living thru fishing and planting vegetables. I learned the different kind of money/coins they have. One thing that disappointments me was there are only few artifacts in the museum. The...More

This is only worth a quick look. there are some interesting little craft displays were it is possible to see potter, weaver, painter etc. producing traditional wares. Also some other craft stalls, which were not too touristy. Good views nearby across the Gulf and modern...More

I found this attraction to be incredibly run down and cruel to animals. There are displays of "authentic" souqs next to a dozen stalls selling ridiculous tourist merchandise. The sole camel, bull and goat I saw all chained in small pens was enough to make...More

With all the newness in the area it was nice to see an attempt to have a heritage site. Small museum interesting and a good collection of photos from 1960s

We visited as a stop off on way to get a dhow wasn't really worth it apart from city view and even for that we got chased away from a restaurant. Smelly camel and mangy looking horse didn't really do much for me. Everything else...More

If only given one choice, which place is more worth visiting, Qasr Al Hosn or Heritage Village?

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.

Hello, I've seen a picture where you were rode a camila, is it for rent? I want to go with my 5 years old son and it should be interesting. :)
