This course was well signposted and in fantastic condition. It is a joy to play and just about the right level of challenge. The greens were great, staff were helpful and we really enjoyed our round here, probably the most favourite between all the clubs in Abu Dhabi.

Fabulous course with flawless, fast-running greens. An absolute pleasure to play.
Service from the staff was a little patchy - when we got to the practice ground just before playing, the staff looked at us like we were from a different planet when we asked for our buggy. We were given one which was parked on it's own at the end of the range and we soon found out why - the SatNav screen wasn't working. A marshall promised to replace it but didn't appear until the 12th hole to advise us that none were available!!
Also the Slope chart was clearly top-secret. It was in a secluded part of the clubhouse with a font that required a microscope.
All of which didn't detract from the important bit - that being a wonderful golfing experience. Can't wait to go back.

I’m finding it hard to write this review because the way the club (well I’m guessing a PGA directive) dropped the rule of no carts less than 48 hours before our round of golf. We had booked this via a reliable golf tour operator, who themselves only found out about the no cart rule at extremely short notice after we had booked this trip some 8 months earlier! I can understand the reasoning behind the rule with a Rolex DP tour event HSBC Classic due to be played & the course being closed a few days following our planned round. However it left us with little or no option and positively fuming. Mr L struggles to walk 18 due to a bad hip and when playing 5 rounds of golf in 6 days in 26deg I find a cart a necessity as myself and Mrs L no spring chickens. The course is quite undulating as well and trying to push a manual trolley complete with sand bags for divots resulted in Mrs L abandoning ship after 3 holes me after 9! We called to chat with the pro a day before to see if they would allow dispensation for my wife’s hip but it was a flat NO. We were offered to swap to Saadiyat Beach GC instead but as we had played there already and because of the rave reviews about Yas Links I desperately wanted to try and play as this was to be the highlight of our AD trip! From the few holes I did play the course was in ‘mint’ condition as one would expect ahead of a tour event the fairways, tee boxes and greens all superb. Greens have some serious undulations on them and with the speed of them (cut & rolled ready for the pros) it certainly gave me an insight into how good the pros are. I managed to reach most greens in regulation however at least another 4 shots to get it in the hole! Sad that we had to cut this one short as I’d love to play it properly maybe when a Rolex event is not planned!

Played here last week and had an excellent day’s golf.
The staff are very friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
The golf course itself was superb, not really a links course in the true sense of the word but the way the course runs alongside the water provides great views and challenge.

Probably not the venue but more the event organisers.
The Production was fantastic.
The customer experience was appalling.
Good venue, however, access & egress with transportation was very poor.
Que system, very poor.
Alcohol control with red wristband: great idea poorly excuited.
Bar provision and service: third rate.
Gold section: looked good on paper, didn't work on the day.
Medical provision: you got away with it more through luck than judgement.
Please feel free to DM is you'd like to consult international expertise on systems testing major events to both protect your reputation and provide and outstanding customer experience.

Friendly staff, well organised, excellent facilities. The whole course was in excellent condition, at times, difficult to tell the actual green from the run off area. Both Green and Tees were faultless. A real golfing challenge, which still left you with a smile on your face, after 3 putting. Wind got up on last three holes, which made the 18th play a whole lot longer. Definitely one to play on any golf trip to UAE. We are still buzzing about the course, absolutely loved it.

Top of the line, pretty sure that there is a reason for this course being the worlds top leading courses, it's been a great game, apart from their superb facilities, this club simply stays ahead of all the other courses I ever played, greens, fairways, out of bounce, red, blue, yellow marks all there and how they suppose to be. Definitely an extreme professional management team. It is definitely worth to paying a visit, come and go, enjoy this amazing course

I would like to play the Academy coarse with my son who is 11. He plays at home using US kids Size 63” clubs.
Am I able to hire junior clubs at the coarse?
Don’t want to take his clubs out for a couple of rounds!
