The mosque is definitely one of the places you must visit when you come to the UAE, artistically designed and the chandeliers are amazing, I believe that the carpet is one of it is kind in the world as it is handmade and it is in one piece of about 1000SQM , highly recommended

I remember when i used to watch documentaries about it on NatGeo and looking at it with fascination. Finally, i saw it in reality. Its breathtaking, from the architecture to the atmosphere. It gives you a sense of luxury mixed with spirituality. Absolutely a must visit landmark when in UAE. Mashallah

This mosque is simply one of the most stunning structures I've ever seen. Designed to hold 40,000 worshippers, it's outfitted with gold, marble, Swarovski crystal chandeliers, and a luxurious wool carpet. As you walk through the different rooms, it's hard not to be awed by its sheer beauty. You have to be respectful and dress appropriately - for women knees... More

The landmark is not even 10 years old, but belongs to one of the most impressive buildings I have seen. Its a cultural landmark which you shouldn't miss, when you visit the UAE. We joined a guided tour, which started at 11am. It took 60 minutes, our guide Emine was extremely knowledgeable and she gave a wonderful introduction into the... More

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the best mosques that I have ever been to. If you are a sightseer then it will be one of the best experiences that you will have. The amount of different colour inside the mosque will make a traveller feel like they are in heaven and the different ornaments will make you crumble... More

We were staying in the city centre and got a taxi out to the mosque. Good idea as it drops you at the South end where you can get the robes free of charge - looks great in photos. This mosque is unbelievable and beautiful. You take your shoes off on entering. Socks a good idea. The and pillars and... More

The mosque is just fabulous and magnificent. It is free and open for every one. The problem is that it is too crowded and you cannot completely enjoy being there. Years ago, it was perfect but now due to high people influence, it's more hectic and less friendly. Moreover, I find shocking the fact that there is a cafe and... More

New and beautiful mosque which took 11 years to build - well worth a visit if you are in to architecture and are in Abu Dhabi, even if you are not a muslim.
