About
MIRAJ MUSEUM brings to you Islamic Art created by thousands of artisans from all over the world. The foundation of Islamic Art came from its culture of worship." It is a communion between the Artist and his God". At the first glance, one may be enthralled by its all-too-magnificent beauty, but you miss the manifestation of a complex civilization. The generous use of brilliant colors, superb balance between design and form, the poetry of its lines, equally mesmerizes the connoisseur and the novice. The impact is immediate and complete. For centuries, benevolence and patronage of Kings and Nobility to the Artisan allowed the Art to flow across the Islamic world, while nourishing and imbibing the style, opulence and wealth, of the society or the material world.

What an intriguing experience at Miraj Museum! We experienced an extensive collection of historical artifacts and art of Islamic culture. The jewellery section stole mu heart with its exquisite rings and striking gemstones. Plus, the staff's hospitality was top-notch!

I will rate as 0 stars if platform allows.

Total scam. A lack of integrity to call the carpet and jewellery shop a museum.

Rayna Tour Group bought us there, on the Abu Dhabi package tour.
- It was not indicated on the Rayna website nor the written email itinerary.

I wonder why it was not indicated.

The tour could have ended at 5.30pm instead of 6.30pm without the above hidden pitstop.

Total waste of time. The Miraj is NOT a museum. Let me repeat that...the Miraj is NOT a museum. It’s a store selling overpriced items. Complete waste of time. Avoid this place.

Unfortunately for some reason we were taken here as part of a city tour. This is not a museum. You cannot just walk around and we got a very rude "salesman" who wouldn't take no for an answer when he was told that we were not interested. Avoid at all costs, it's just a big rip off & if you end up here with a tour - ask to move on straight away

This is a shop, it very hard sell. If you not interesting, salesman will ignore you. The exit is very small and difficult to find, toilet is very dirty and not enough for everybody. And you can not take a photos.

We took a day tour to Abu Dhabi from Dubai and were told that we had to make a stop for women to change (appropriately for the mosque) and men could use the restroom. We walked in and were immediately taken into a room where the sales pitch began. If you are on a tour, then I believe this is a must do tourist stop for tour companies to make their commission. Otherwise, if you just want to visit a museum, stay away at all cost.

From my experience! I loved the whole place, but the jewelry section was my favorite! Unique quality rings, lovely gem colors, diamonds and beautitul gold. The staff was very polite and good customer service.

The jewelry where really top quality and I can say it because my husband has a lot of expertise in jewelry because of his job, and he confirm that everything there was in good quality. The most important thing: GOOD QUALITY OF THE GOLD AND DIAMONDS AND LESS EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER PLACES!

Stay Away!!Do not buy anything . EVERYTHING they have there can be found in Dubay malls, and bazzars for 5-6 times less. My kids tried to stop me, but I believe on Islam and thought they never cheat on the name of Islam and Paid £950 for a carpet he lied to be real Gold with stamp and signature and documents of the shop, to find it next day in most expensive Dubai mall for £200. THIS WILL GO UGLY!!!Shame on you people..You changed the way I look at Islamic !

Not a museum, it’s a glorified home goods sale store that puts you in a maze under the belief you are taking a museum tour. My emotionally weak wife felt bad and we came out buying a stupid brass camel for $220 dirham (after the 35% “‘discount”) as a pity buy to get out of there. We did think, however, it was cute and unique so it was all good. An hour later, we were at Abu Dhabi mosque gift shop store and they had the damn camel for about $35. We got hosed. Also everything in the museum you could find in the tacky gift shop. If your tour guide ends up here, run!

From beginning to end, a salesman poised as your tourguide will accompany you. The art pieces are nice and pretty but the repetitive remark that you can buy the pieces that you want and they can even give you a special discount, sounds pretty dodgy for a "museum"

At the end the salesman even asked if we want to see the cheaper items on sale so we can buy some "souvenir"

Just dont let your guards down, but if you really want to buy them go ahead.
