One day in a great place
I had a chance to visit this great place today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On the westwing next to the swimming pool in the cafe( cascade), I had lunch. The food was delicious. The waiter who served the food for us was very friendly and professional. When I was walking in the garden area, I felt peaceful and relaxed. The Emirates Palace is the best place for vocation.

Day one and we are blown away with the amazing customer service!
Here is the first of what I expect to be multiple positive reviews on employees at this amazing property and resort. Our housekeeping crew with I Made Aryana, the supervisor, went above and beyond to meet our needs during our 7 night stay. He came over to our room to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed. He inquired as to what time we would like our room refreshed each day and any specific needs we might have. The level of service at the Palace is truly incredible. At breakfast, the restaurant manager, Ruth Lita, came over to our table to ensure we enjoyed the spectacular buffet. She offered to assist us with any needs during our stay that we might have. The hostess at the breakfast buffet greeted us with a smile and was so friendly and joyful. Each of the servers at the buffet were extremely professional, attentive and friendly. Katerina at the reception desk checked us in upon arrival and took extra care to make sure we could get something to eat even upon our late arrival and that we had all the help we needed to work on getting our luggage that was lost. She was so professional and truly delightful. This is only day one! I will be back to add more as our week progresses.

The best place and best service
We visited Palace and we can definitely say that it is one of the most beautiful places in the UAE. Unique interior, luxury in every detail, exquisite cuisine and excellent service. Special thanks to Butler Natalia, for her knowledge and help. She showed us around the palace, explained the history of the palace and showed us amazing places. Always look forward to returning to enjoy top service and an amazing place.

    Nice stay but…
We visit Emirates Palace every year. This year they added some very nice touches and the renovated areas/rooms are lovely and certainly add up to the experience. However customer service can be improved. We had several incidents that you would certainly not expect from such a place and that was draining. However there are so many LOVELY staff members that go the extra mile and make your stay memorable. Our absolute favourite is MAHESH at the East Pool. Each and every time he really goes out of his way to service you. He is so kind, switched on and proactive. He is a true gem. Some other lovely staff members that are always so helpful and so extremely kind with our kids are Luci and Abeer from La Vendome, Thisara from the beach and West Pool and Abdul at the main entrance. Unfortunately I dont remember the names of all the staff that truly stand out. I wish next time we visit more staff is trained and engaged to that level, because this time we really had the impression that everything was difficult… and that’s a pity.

A genuine palace with the finest facilities and staff to go with it.
This review is of Talea Italian restaurant and in particular it’s young but incredibly talented and passionate sommelier Andrew. Dinner and wine service were faultless and whilst the menu is a tad pricey, it’s a lot of effort (cost) to gain and maintain a Michelin star. The restaurant is a must do if staying at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi as is staying at this hotel if you are in the Emirate. A wonderful hotel full of genuinely amazing staff. Far to many high performers to single out more and the property is a genuine palace as was its original intended purpose

    Marvelous Stay
Emirates palace in Abu Dhabi is a magnificent hotel. Staff are very friendly and service is super. Their beach facilities, gym, SPA, swimming pools all excellent and hardly you can’t have any negative feedback!!! The rooms are very clean as if it’s 1 years old hotel despite its almost more than 18 years old. Recommend to experience the hotel and grant you that you will never think to leave the hotel during the stay.

Conscientious and diligent life guard at Emirates Palace Hotel
We enjoyed our holiday thoroughly and met many very helpful employees. Although we made the hotel aware of these helpful employees, we believe that one person we met was employed by an agency and therefore we felt we should commend him by this route. Mr Hashin Lakshan worked as a life guard at Emirates Palace Hotel (Abu Dhabi) during our visit. We do not know this life guard personally, however, we were very impressed by his diligence, observational skills, initiative and caring attitude. On one occasion, for example, he noticed that my husband was not in the vicinity of the pool and investigated promptly. Fortunately, my husband was fine, however, we were very grateful to Hashin and would like to wish him every success and happiness in his future career and life.

    A fairy tale palace
Drenched in gold and boasting the world's largest dome, the five-star Emirates Palace in the emirate of Abu Dhabi is bigger than Buckingham Palace. This fairy-tale palace is so grand and glamorous that it seems straight out of an Arabian fairy tale. From its position at the western end of the famous tourist street Corniche, the eight-story hotel that is about one kilometer long is hard to miss.

    Pre Christmas holiday
MO are definitely making a huge amount of changes and improvements to the EP and the rooms and services were flawless. Exceptional massages available and excellent beach and pool service available as expected. The restaurants offerings are vast and all outstanding. We had a flawless and very chilled holiday for nine nights and we will return in the near future. My only complaint is the care of the resident camels, and baby. This needs to be improved immediately. They need space to roam freely and it tainted our holiday to see them tied up on the beach all day and night for the entire time we stayed.

Having spent many excellent holidays here when it was managed by Kempinski, we were looking forward to our two week stay now it's managed by Mandarin Oriental.
The exterior and most of the interior of the hotel is the same. The restaurants have changed. Mandarin have refurbished the rooms which are tastefully decorated and well serviced twice a day.
The EP Club, in it's new position on the ground floor facing the sea,
is the best bit in our opinion. It has its own private beach. The staff and facilities are excellent. We celebrated our 57th wedding anniversary during our stay and the EP club made a great fuss of us. Thank you.
We did have some problems with noise from the development at the Marina and functions which the hotel hold, but the management were very good and sorting things out to our satisfaction.
Overall we had another wonderful holiday and hope to return again sometime.
Thank you to all the staff - especially in the EP club.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and we thought it was the most magical place we’ve ever been to, from the moment you walk in you are greeted with so much warmth and hospitality from all the staff, during your stay every need was taken care of very promptly, the service is like no other and all the facilities at the hotel kept us very busy during the day and at the end of the day your room was the perfect place to wind down and relax
I would recommend going either as a couple or even as a family, you can enjoy camel rides, all day by the pool/ beach and the extensive water activities.
We especially want to thank the people wonderful crew who looked after us during our stay

Karim who was our butler
Nabrej ( assistant manager )
Elenior butler (housekeeping)
All the bellboy and concierge team Yuli
Prasanna butler.
Transportation team Aisha and Abdullah and the rest of club car team
And also a very special thank you to Yusri
( transportation manager) for his hospitality

My husband and I are both cabin crew and we have stayed in multiple hotels around the world but this place is by far one we can genuinely say we will be coming back to and will be recommending to our family.
It was both warm and adventurous at the same time.

Definitely a must visit!

We reserved in advance by email the Aternoon Tea arrangement in the Episodes café (located on 4th floor in the lobby).
We received a great 4 course menu with small delicacies from caviar to freshly baked scones and amazing mini gateaux, offered with a wide variety of amazing teas.
Not to forget the legendary golden cappucchino at the end.
Overall we had an absolutely great time for about 2 hours in a really magnificient and outstanding 5star hotel.
Thanks so much to Shelanie and her very friendly, professional and attentive service during our time there.
Highly recommended experience in Abu Dhabi!

Special thanks to Melvin, the Concierge Supervisor, whose warmth and attentiveness made our experience truly exceptional. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond ensured that every moment was nothing short of amazing. Additionally, huge gratitude to Benz for his impeccable assistance and professional yet friendly approach. His expertise and hospitality enhanced our stay in countless ways. We can't wait to return to this paradise and experience the unparalleled hospitality once again. Thank you, Emirates Palace, for an incredible getaway

This is the only place to stay in AD. Trust me. The scope and scale of this hotel (as well as its gilded interiors and exteriors) is almost unimaginable. You truly are staying in a Middle Eastern palace (okay, one that's heavily influenced by Las Vegas). And it's huge... breakfast at the buffet restaurant was a 1/2 mile walk roundtrip from our room. (I checked my iPhone). This should give you an idea of the size of the place.

The well-maintained grounds are even larger and the hotel... (err, palace) sits on a kilometer of wide, carefully groomed sand on a quiet sea. Built 20 years ago and billed at that time as the most expensive hotel (or was it building?) ever built, the hotel still remains in the top 3 on that metric.

It is also one of the biggest tourist attractions in Abu Dhabi (quite frankly, there aren't that many other things to do here), so the front of half of the hotel is teeming with tourists who come for photo ops. They're basically stopped by security at the massive 9 story rotunda in the middle of the hotel (which is spectacular) and the areas beyond that are restaurants and public spaces for guests only.

The hotel was relatively quiet when we visited and we had the beaches and pools (there are two expansive ones, on either side of the hotel) almost to ourselves... though there was a boisterous Bollywood movie being filmed there on our first night. You can check out a free bike and ride around the hotel and all the paths and then out to the jetty, which I recommend. Alas, they're expanding the jetty and adding a marina at the moment so it's a pile of rubble currently, but it's still pretty out on the water when you're looking back at the hotel. (The actual massive "presidential" palace is also next door... it looks like it was designed by the same architect... wish we had time to visit).

Despite its physical size, the hotel only has about 350 rooms (so you have a lot of space to yourself in the public areas). They're all nicely sized and beautifully appointed (the Mandarin remodel just finished a few months ago) with regional touches but you can still see some of the original design of the rooms (Vegas meets the Mid East circa 2004).

When you check in, it does feel a lot like Las Vegas. It's almost like a circus. So many people milling around. We had friendly staff greet us... and they were from all over the world, so it would not feel like you're remotely on the Persian Gulf if not for the decor. Everyone was nice but we did not get the wing we requested months earlier (the west wing is more for families, the east is quieter). We got stuck in the west, but fortunately the hotel was not packed so it didn't end up ruining our trip. They did offer to move us later but it was so much work... probably a mile walk to the other room... we didn't bother.

I'd specifically like to mention the very personable Johannes at the front desk... we met him on our last day while checking out. What a genuinely nice guy! He really made a special effort to make our trip the best it could be and put in a good word for us at the next Mandarin on our trip around the world. Thanks, Johannes. And Remi (from St. Tropez) at the restaurant Talea was also really nice the two nights we dined there. Overall, each encounter with every staff member was pleasant and the room service people were consistently delightful, as well. Their food was pretty good, too.

Our room, which was a deluxe water view and the hotel's highest category other than a suite or something on the club floor, was set quite far back from the water. You're mostly overlooking the grounds. Nice grounds, but a little removed from the sea. A city view, which is much cheaper, might be a better option. We're glad for what we had, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra money.

Food in the multiple restaurants was quite good, but it's really expensive to dine here. Our breakfast was included, so we were happy about that.

As for Abu Dhabi, it's very quiet and orderly. I kind of missed the buzz of Dubai (a whole different vibe and much more hectic and crowded) but we didn't have enough time to visit during our stay. (It's about 90 minutes away by car via a busy 8 lane highway... a high speed passenger train is coming later this year). Since this hotel is staffed by people from all over the world, you don't feel like you're in the Middle East or anywhere specific most of the time (again, if not for the decor), which is kind of disorienting. However, if I return to Abu Dhabi on a stopover, I would definitely stay here again for two or three days. (And if you're flying in from Europe or Asia, it would make for a nice week's beach vacation).

The hotel's expansive grounds and lavish touches, its gigantic scale and glittering gold, plus the uniformly pleasant staff, made our stay very memorable and worthwhile.

During my stay, my bear Jellycat disappeared. On February 15, I called 400 customer service, and the customer service said to give me a reply within three days. It has been 25rd today, and I have not received any phone calls or emails from MO Group. Not even an apology. I accepted the fact that the bear was lost in the hotel, but there was no way to accept MO's attitude in handling the complaint. They did nothing about complain.
