We offer kayak tours through the Dhow Harbor located just off the Corniche near the Islamic Museum. Paddle through the old Dhows, see fish as they jump and get a view of the Doha from the water. A great way to start the day or enjoy the city lights in the evening.

Kayaking in the Mangroves
Oct 2018
This is a lovely way to experience something a little different in Doha. The guides are friendly and helpful. However I think you should be given the option of sharing a kayak or choosing a single one and not having this decided for you.

Great Experience - Mangroves Kayaking
Nov 2017 • Couples
This is a must take trip in Doha. About 2 hours of Kayaking around the refreshing green Mangroves near a peaceful beach near Al Khor (north of Doha). The company is also called Discover Arabia, really good and courteous guides and staff - very friendly.
They provide all equipments, water, juices. There is a changing room if needed and a portable toilet but don't expect 5 star luxury in the middle of a desert.

Best thing I did in Qatar - great to get out of the city
Sep 2016 • Friends
We spent a lovely couple of hours kayaking in the mangroves - it's about a 30 minute drive through the desert from West Bay but really worth it.

Aside from some much needed exercise this place is so natural and peaceful, a real tonic for the soul when you have enough of the air conditioned offices, malls and cars!

We saw a variety of birds, jumping fish, crabs and a lovely sunset. Apparently a good time to visit is November when the flamingos return. The guy who runs the company is really knowledgeable and good company.

Pearl tour
Jun 2016 • Friends
We did the paddling tour at night with a sky full of stars and the beautiful lights from the pearl buildings. AB was our guide, very attentive, talkative and fun. Tour lasts for one and a half hour and is very pleasant to paddle with no current! Recommend it for all ages and fitness levels :-)

City Lights Tour @ The Pearl
Jun 2016 • Couples
Excellent choice!
I'm so happy we did this!

One agent from Entalek approached us on Instagram, to invite us for a tour around the Pearl kayaking.
I was already looking for an alternative for these Hot Ramadan Nights, and this came in perfect timing!

We met AB @ Qanat Cuartier @ the Pearl around 9pm.
He explain us briefly how to paddle, while offering us a lantern and some bottles of water.
We could choose between a single kayak for each, or a double one.
We took the double one as I wanted to lay down while my boyfriend did all the job for me. (BTW I ended up guiding and paddling harder, so!)

The tour started all around Marsa Malaz Kempinski (most beautiful and luxurious hotel I ever seen!) and then we entered the pearl commercial area.

We chilled for a while and then paddle into open water! Great exercise combined with relax as we also laid back to watch the stars and skyline for couple of minutes.

Lovely experience, weather was just perfect. Something different to try while in Doha besides going for Iftars and getting fat :)

Would try the mangroves next!!

It was fun, yet romantic <3 Another way to explore the beauty of the pearl from a different point of view.
Super happy!

Tips: Bikini is allowed. I was wearing shorts to be more comfortable though. Changing rooms available. Each person should pay 150 for 90min of fun! Worth it!

Good Trip
Feb 2016 • Friends
We did the Mangrove tour in February as we had a friend visiting us from the UK. The tour was easy to book and very well organised, we had a set meeting place to find and we were met there then taken through some sand dunes to the kayaking launch point.

The canoes were well maintained and clean and we were given life jackets, the toilet facility wasn't the best (would recommend your own toilet roll and hand cleanser).

Amine took us on out tour and he was incredibly knowledgable and passionate which was really nice. Unfortunately due to low tide we didn't really get to paddle into the Mangrove too far, which was a shame, but we did do a lot of Kayaking. All in all a very good tour and will definitely do again.

Awesomeness of Mangroves + Greenery
Oct 2014 • Couples
- antalek gave good info about the visit, however the details of the bbq, drinks and water was not very well provided. they were available in good quantity but details really help. Plus details of area to sit, as extra chairs and rugs do good.
- we were amateurs for kayaking, and got good knowledge how to do that.
- first aid crew was along the kayaks.
- life saving jackets were good, kayaks were good.
- life guards were along in their kayaks too.
- very enjoyable for couples.
- we had the moonlight tour, and was worthed.
- if you dint take bbq facility, take food and beverages along, as there is no nearby area to shop. BBQ facility was just ok for taste. but ofcourse you get tired and any food is tasty at that time.
- tour was a bit short for kayaking duration, they may have started 2 hours before sunset. actual start after kayaking guidance was 30 min to sunset.
- however no limitation of sitting at the beach.
- on return at night, as only tracks on desert are to be followed so speed gets slower.
- any car may go to the location.
- other than ENTALEK company, i dont know if one can go alone on his own to that location among mangroves.
- washroom facility was very limited, needs upgrade.
- bring along torches for night time easiness.
- bring extra clothes in case u get wet.
- not advisable with kids.
- bring a basic first aid kit in case its required. they have the kits already too.
