The Corniche in Doha is a pedestrianised strip by the water and is popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists alike. You can walk for miles here and we spent one day walking from the Museum all the way into the city area. The Corniche is a safe place to walk away from traffic, just beware that getting onto the Corniche... More

This is the absolute best time to visit as the weather is perfect. Each evening the Corniche is full of every possible nationality walking, running, playing of just sitting nearby on camp chairs having a coffee. Great atmosphere and a good way to see the city and get some exercise.

Amazing views and long enough for casual and sport activity, what helps is distance markers on the ground. good for photography too, but please pack a water bottle and empty your bladder before going because the public toilets are too far apart and you need a gas mask to be able to breath there (sorry).

Really nice place to go for a walk and to get a nice view of the city. Could really do with some modernisation though! Toilets and phone chargers in case it's a long walk! It's about 6km long. You can also get a cheap boat out to the bay.

Lovely walk with the family during the shopping extravaganza. Lots of people hanging out. Nice boats with neon. People cycling, jogging, walking, exercising. 2 and a half hour stroll with the kids and another family. Perfect Saturday evening.

I have enjoyed the early morning walks on the weekends watching the sunrise and loving the fresh air.

You can see different phase of Doha city from Doha Corniche. On the one end you will get experience to see the pure cultural, traditional souq, spice market, fanar mosque etc....but in the other end, its the city of sky scrapers. Its totally on man made island. Evening walk through corniche is a wonderful experience.

This is a good place to visit. The visit must be done during day and night. The lights at night is worth the seeing. The nearby boat ride is also a way to get another perspective. The buildings are all different shapes and sizes.

Approximately 5km from end to end, very pedestrian friendly and a great place for views of the city (old and new). This is a lovely addition to the waterfront and free parking is available.
