Located in the old city of Muthra the palace is magnificient and is perfect for photo op. It is a must visit place and the places around it and the waterfront are really good. They are very well maintained and clean.

Was amazed how close we could without anyone being rude. Quite and unobtrusive location. The building was not over bearing but looked more humble than others in the region.

Another stunning building and location in Old Muscat. Omani buildings are wonderfully built, love the use of colours. Designed to last through time.

Easy parking here, and larger than expected grounds. Were not allowed into the palace but still a good photo shoot.

The building is Ok but not beautiful enough to make an effort to visit unless its part of an organized tour. You can see the first from here too but as you can't go inside any of them you're limited to a distance photo opportunity

Arrived at this place from the Big Bus Tour. The stop is at the front and there's a distance walking in. The sides have a covered walkway and is a good place to take pictures. Do remember to walk all the way to the back...More
