If you are the person who has not visited a gym or done any physical activity lately but want to see the beauty of a wadi in Oman, this is it. A very scenic drive through a beautiful wadi and parking spots from where you can just get off and jump into clear pools of spring water. Very green with... More

This wadi is just next to wadi Shab, just a 10 minute drive. Wadi Shab requires a hike, this wadi tiwi you can just drive trough with your car. We stopped at a certain point because the road became to narrow. So go as far you are comfortable. The scenery is definitely worth the visit. And since you probably visited... More

It's like the national geographic adventures, words cannot describes how the place looks like, it's also one of the best driving experience in the very narrow roads, it's a must go place in Oman and really worth the 1.5hrs drive from muscat

This was my first wadi experience in Oman. When compared to the other wadis that I visited in Oman, this one was the least memorable. It still was a very neat place to see. It is probably more impressive with the sun shining and more water in the wadi because it was a fairly overcast and dull day when I... More

It can be tough going to drive all the way out to the last village (about 45 min) up and down, rough & smooth, but if you park under the big tree in the last village and hike down through the irrigation channels, you'll come to the best Pool and waterfall anywhere in this part of Oman. Lovely cool water... More

We first stop downriver, underneath the gigantic new freeway bridge, near the point where the Tiwi river reaches the ocean and where it is possible to take a short boat ride upriver. Then we follow the road along the river upstream into the interior, through a small hamlet to a water pond with plenty of rocks and a wider water... More

we went at the weekend during a holiday so it was a little busier, but still fantastic. a lovely walk up the wadi with our local guides, then a swim, a rock climb, a rock jump into a cave and a walk back down again. Brilliant excursion!

We visited this Tiwi as part of a whole day excursion with our two young kids. We didn't spend much time here as our main destination was Wadi Shab. Wadi Tiwi was nice and quiet picturesque. One of the differences with Wadi Shab is that Wadi Tiwi has a road running through it so some of it you can explore... More

Our guide recommended this Wadi because less crowded. Indeed, it was quite quiet, we could really enjoy the picnic and then swim in a "private" natural pool. Wonderful.
