That is nice place to visit and spend some time on cafe or restaurant. The most unpleasant is children asking for money which damaged my Good mood.

20 years after first visiting Beirut I finally made it there. A lively energetic place with all sorts of shops & restaurants, walking distance to the sea, so you get to experience Beirut at its best!

What once was The place for night life and shopping-holics is now breathing again after the long year of war. Hamra street is a buzzing place with restaurants , pubs , shops , hotels , and night life as well.

A great area of busy cafes/bars and restaurants mixed with little shops. The cafes/bars and restaurants spill out into the roads with street seating. Restaurants for every taste and pocket.

Headed to the street which is considered the major shopping area in Beirut. Prices were extremely high so ended up having coffee :)

Very cosmopolitan area of Beirut. Many affordable hotels. Many places to eat and drink, from upscale dining to fast food. In the heart of Beirut, it is a walking distance to the beach, shopping...etc.

I changed U.S and AUD. Check hotel for rates. I found the local shops do better rates. I changed money in a mobile phone shop and jewelers and they were very good rates.
